Miss Megan Docherty

Ms. Megan Docherty has been an educator in the Oceanport School District since 2022. She served as an in-class resource teacher in grades 5 and 8, before transitioning to her current position as a Grade 5 classroom teacher, teaching Math, Science, ELA, and Social Studies. She has 15 years of teaching experience, having taught 11 of those years at private international schools around the world including: Russia, The Netherlands, Switzerland, and most recently Thailand. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Lynchburg College in Special Education and a Master of Science degree from University of Kansas in Curriculum and Instruction.
