Mr. DiTommaso has been an educator in the Oceanport School District since 2018. During his tenure, he has served as the Band Director leading the Charger Band, Cadet Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band, and the Brass and Woodwind Ensemble. In 2023, the Charger Band took home the Overall Trophy at Music Showcase Festivals at Six Flags, which is presented to the band that has the highest score for the day. Mr. DiTommaso also has had multiple students audition for and get accepted into the All-Shore Intermediate Band.

Mr. DiTommaso earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from New Jersey City University. He is an active performer himself on the French Horn and Trumpet playing in University and community ensembles, as well as playing the pit orchestras for local theater and high school musicals.
