Mrs. Joanne LaValva

Special Education Teacher

Mrs. LaValva has taught in the Oceanport School District since 2007. She earned her degree in Special Education from West Chester University. She is also a Wilson certified teacher with more than twenty years of experience at various grade levels. Mrs. LaValva teaches ELA and Math and provides support across the curriculum. She taught at Wolf Hill School for five years before moving to her current position at Maple Place Middle School.
