Mrs. Jamie Hahn

Teacher of 8th Grade Science

Mrs. Jamie Hahn has been an educator in the Oceanport School District since 1999. Over the course of her teaching career Mrs. Hahn has taught science in grades 5 and 6, and mathematics in grades 5-7. This year she is teaching 8th grade science. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Psychology from Monmouth University, and a Masters in Administration from Grand Canyon University. Mrs. Hahn led the student leadership program at Maple Place for over 10 years and coached the cheerleaders from 2001-2009. Mrs. Hahn was proudly named Teacher of the year in 2007.

Mrs. Hahn has a deep appreciation for both science and math and prides herself on making it relevant to real life. She enjoys hands-on learning and a classroom filed with organized chaos where the students are in charge of their own learning. Mrs. Hahn spends most of her free time outdoors, typically on baseball fields with her three sons; Cooper, Carter and Corbin.
