Mrs. Amy Eklof

Teacher of Grade 5 ELA and Social Studies

Mrs. Amy Eklof has taught a variety of students Pre-K through 8th grade in her 18 year career, notably serving in multiple leadership and mentoring roles and receiving the Governor’s Teacher of the Year award in 2005. She has been an educator in the Oceanport School District since 2019, where she has taught 5th and 6th grade ELA, 8th grade Math, co-taught 4th grade, and supported students as a Math Interventionist for grades 2-8. Mrs. Eklof is currently teaching 5th grade ELA and Social Studies.

Mrs. Eklof graduated summa cum laude from the nationally accredited education program at Weber State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education and concentrations in general and social sciences. Additionally, she’s a certified Middle School Mathematics teacher.
